This audit reviews whether adult patients with abnormal NEWS2 scores are recognised, escalated, reviewed and documented appropriately. It supports safer recognition and response to acute deterioration in acute medicine, general medicine, ED, AMU, SDEC, surgical assessment units and inpatient wards.
